Mystery Quilt Day

Each winter our guild comes together for a Mystery Quilt Day where clues are provided to participants for a mystery project!  Over the past few years, we have transitioned our Mystery Quilt Day to being a virtual multi-week event.  This allows all our members - those who winter in warmer climes or live outside the Metro Detroit area, care for family members, or are limited in their ability to tolerate the sometimes harsh Michigan winters - to actively participate!

Weekly clues are emailed to registered participants beginning in January.  We hold regular Mystery Quilt sew-a-longs on Saturday mornings via Zoom where you can work with other members for a couple hours and provide tips, tricks, share ideas, demonstrate techniques, ask questions, show fabric selections, and try to guess the mystery!!

We will reveal the final layout at the virtual Mystery Quilt Day in early March. Most participants who keep up with the weekly clues will have a completed top by the end of the Mystery Quilt Day!!

Newer quilters are strongly encouraged to participate! This is a great way to learn new skills, develop friendships, and have a finished top perfect for cuddling, gifting, or showing after it is quilted!

Members and Non-Members may participate in this FUNdraiser that helps us fund future programs!
