Challenge Quilt

Every year our guild has a challenge for members!  This is a great opportunity to push the envelope and try new techniques!  We are pleased to announce 2025 Challenge is Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail

It’s time to hop into the new challenge for 2024-25, and this year’s theme is sure to be a delight: Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail!

The challenge is simple: your quilt must feature at least one bunny—or as many as you’d like. Let your creativity run wild as you stitch together charming, whimsical, or even abstract interpretations of these adorable creatures. Whether you prefer a single bunny hopping through a field or a playful pattern with a whole family of them, the possibilities are endless!

Here are the important guidelines:

  • Your quilt can be any size, but it must not exceed 50 x 65 inches.
  • Quilts are due at the May meeting.

Guild members in attendance at the May meeting will judge the entries, and we’ll be awarding prizes to three lucky winners! Expect not only cash prizes but also ribbons to commemorate your achievement.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills, try something new, and add a little fun to your quilting year. So start planning, gather your fabrics, and get ready to bring your bunny-themed masterpiece to life!

We can’t wait to see what you create—good luck and happy quilting!
