Join me in creating your own version of my favorite Laura Heine pattern, Seed pods.  This pattern is easily created from your own stash and can made in any color palette. Class participants will learn the entire process from start to finish, so other than gathering supplies, no prep work is needed.

This will be a stand alone project in which we make a portion of the pattern to allow participants to leave with a completed top ready to quilt and bind.

Laura Heine projects are doable for beginners and fun for advanced sewists who would like to learn a new technique!  As an added bonus, a demo on using Inktense pencils to enhance your projects will be given (Inktense pencils are not necessary for the class and participants can use mine during class if they would like to try them out).  I will also demo how to add words or sayings to your collage project for those that would like to.  All necessary supplies (including fabric kits) will be available for purchase during the trunk show/lecture as well as the day of class.

This full-day workshop will be held at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church located at 5500 N Adams Rd, Troy, MI 48098.  Click here for map.

St. Stephen's is in a residential area, so there are no restaurants nearby.  It's highly recommended that you bring your lunch.  Microwave and fridge are available.
