Rescue (verb) definition: Keep from being lost or abandoned.
There are hundreds of old quilts hiding in closets, attics, and antique and thrift stores. My joy is finding them to rescue, redo, re-quilt (by me), rehome, reuse and re-love. I like to think there are no limits to what can be done with vintage pieces. I hope that making something new and modern out of soft old vintage fabrics is honoring the original maker.
