Intimidated by selecting colors?
Stuck in a color rut?
Tired of using exclusively kits?
Ready to leave your comfort zone?

Let’s demystify that "Artists are born with a supernatural sense of color, out of reach for normal humans like us“. The best part of this one hour program is that it looks at color theory in a way that really helps quilters make and understand their fabric choices.

We will cover basics like hue, value, saturation and clarity and talk about how we can use these concepts to produce harmony, contrast and balance in our quilts. Students will learn about color and how to use it,  gaining interesting insights into their own approach of the creative process.  Cautious beginners who rely on kits and precut bundles, or confident pros who rarely question their color choices will all benefit from the lecture.

Best of all, Nico is joining us in-person and her trunk show will explore each of these concepts in real quilts.

We will meet in person at the Birmingham Unitarian Church Social Hall and offer a hybrid option to attend via Zoom.  Guest fee is $10.  For guests wishing to attend via Zoom, please pay online.  In-person guests may pay at the door.
