A little bit about us

  • We are an evening quilt guild that meets in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
  • GLHQ was organized in 1992 and is currently 130+ members strong, with members across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Our purpose is to promote cooperation and the interchange of ideas, to stimulate an interest in quilting, to present quilt related educational programs, and to engage in charitable projects.

We meet on the 2nd Thursday evening of each month, September - June.
Meetings start at 7 pm, and last roughly 2 hours. 

           COVID-19Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not meeting in person but are utilizing Zoom to conduct our meetings. 

        *Non-members are welcome for a fee of $5 at all meetings except for June. 

        Please send an email to to pay in advance and obtain your Zoom login credentials.

  • Yearly dues are $30 for 2021-2022.
  • At each of our meetings except June, we have a program, a business meeting, and Show & Tell.
  • Newsletters are published monthly and are posted online.
  • Quilters of all ages and experience levels are welcomed!
